WOMEN EMPOWERNMENT– GIRL CHILD EDUCATION
Access of girls and women to education contributes positively to National development and achieving national transformation. DVC foundation has been giving importance in promoting girl child education in underprivileged section of the society.
Over a decade a total number of more than 2000 girl child have been educated by DVC foundation parent NGO Navchetna BV charitable trust, UK in various school and colleges like Arya kanya Mahavidyalya, Arya girls’ school and Government schools in and around Shahabad Markanda..
With parent NGO completed diluted we have taken it on us to move ahead in this direction. we have planned to make a separate block in our new building where we can select girls at early stage in different schools and make them into a totally qualified optometrist, which will enhance them to lead a better life and change economic conditions of their families.

The program has proved to be very successful.
We have seen girls who have participated in our education programme mature and grow in academic and practical knowledge, as well as confidence, and are now increasingly becoming role models in the larger local community. They have become an important and capable member of our team working to eliminate blindness in Haryana.
